There it is. Let us know which ads you remember seeing. I for one remember the Macintosh ad not cause i was old enough but cause my old man had it on one of his magazines. Good ol’ days. As you already know our previous post on MakeUseOf getting hacked got on digg and we were able to help get the word out for the good folks at MUO. We all know that Godaddy lately seems to be under a lot of heat and in all honesty they should. This is not the first time a domain has been snagged from their account by somebody who didn’t own it. Great job Godaddy!

Well godaddy is shitty, nothing new. But the fact that we are starting to see some major flaws on Gmail as well now is quite surprising. This is not the first time a Gmail account got hacked either but emails you could always guess passwords. So we will spare the heat on Gmail. Here is our suggestion on what Godaddy and Gmail can do to better protect their users :

Letter To Godaddy

Dear Bob Parson,

Your company Godaddy is ranked as no.1 domain registrar in the world, please note that this is in the world and not just in North America. This is a huge recognition and quite an achievement. Lately, it seems like Godaddy accounts are not safe at all. I am concerned not about everybody else but I myself have about 150 domains registered through one of the shittiest domain registrars in the world. You can guess where I have my domain registered. Lately with all the hacking and domain transfer that is being done from hackers it seems like something needs to be done.

Bob, I am in no position to tell you what to do but suggestions I sure can. I think its about time Godaddy stops spending dollars on hiring stars like Danica Patrick and spending more dollars to show that you hired celebrities like Danica Patrick. Also the ad dollars that you spend on getting custom godaddy bikes that again promotes the business might as well be spent on securing customers account.

By the way, we like looking at godaddy girls. The only thing we don’t like is what you are spending to bring them onboard when you should really be spending on finding a solution to this growing trend of “hacking” going on.

For a site that has 20,000 plus subscribers and is a home to couple writers, we seriously doubt they would let their domain expire. I mean, come on, domain registrars send you emails quite a few times before they actually take the domain away. If they let it expire then they have to be the dumbest folks around although they have some good solid content, not renewing their domain would make them the dumbest shit.

But as far as we are concerned, we would say MakeUseOf.com has been Hacked! What do you think? Expired or Hacked?

The email that our reader sent had about 50 of these messages but we got other things to do besides entertain, like may be create a post that is actually helpful…..yeah, we know how to do that but have yet to dive into that aspect of blogging. Providing information and what not, but for now TechyShit is focused on fun. May be when Techy gets his ass off the couch we will find something educational but till then enjoy these shitty stuff. Gmail recently launched emoticons for their gmail service and they have added some fun emoticons to set themselves apart from the crowd. One thing that is quite notable is the pile of shit with 2 flies flying around it.So if you are in a shitty mood make use of it and throw shit at someone via email.

Google seems to be rolling out new features day by day these days. After creating Mail Goggles and Canned Response it sure as heck was time for Gmail labs to create something even amazing - a set of emoticons with a pile of shit.

Way to go Google, you never cease to amaze us.
