We have no clue where these messages originated cause one of our loyal readers forwarded us the message. There ya go. The email that our reader sent had about 50 of these messages but we got other things to do besides entertain, like may be create a post that is actually helpful…..yeah, we know how to do that but have yet to dive into that aspect of blogging. Providing information and what not, but for now TechyShit is focused on fun. May be when Techy gets his ass off the couch we will find something educational but till then enjoy these shitty stuff. They are fun and keeps the day going.

Every seen the “windows has detected a virus” popup that WindowsXP virus tosses up? Really.
If folks didn’t get enough of a kick out of these there is also http://atom.smasher.org/error/

LULZ Tip — Make a screenshot of a friend or cow-orker’s desktop.
Save.
Got to the Atom.Smasher site and create a REALLY odd error message.
Paste to saved victim’s screensave.
Copy edited image back to victim’s machine.
Save image as screensaver. (set victim’s screensaver timeout to ridiculously small value.)

I think one of my best **non-firing-offense PC prank was to replace a cow-orker’s screensaver with an animated gif of “TV static” (tiled, of course) Many lulz were to be had that day and many bricks were shat, as the poor guy was as un-computer savvy as humanly possible. (I only let him suffer for a *little* while and then fixed it back and reminded him about computer security. He figured I was the one who did it anyway, me being the office clown. Sigh…)
This PC was shared by a small group of folks in a tech lab. This one dude had a habit of not logging out after using it. It only affected the one user, so no one else noticed it when they logged in the thing. The IT dept had a sense of humor worse than mine, so had they been called they’d probably *left* the image there!
